Curious about astrology, but confused about where to start? Stacia has you covered! This workshop will cover all the basics of what a natal chart is, an overview of each of the signs, how to interpret planets in different signs, and what the houses mean. Learn how to interpret your "big three" placements: sun, moon and rising signs.

Astrology is an ancient tool that gives detailed insight into a person's personality, tendencies, and preferences. The current location of planets in the sky can also tell us information about upcoming events in our lives and help us prepare for the future with personalized cosmic "weather forecasts." This course is designed to introduce you to the concepts needed to understand astrology, as well as give resources for continuing astrological education.

Each participant will have an opportunity to use their own chart as a learning tool, and take away printed reference material for future use. Stacia will also share her favorite podcasts, resources, and books to quench your thirst for astro knowledge. All levels of knowledge welcome, no background in astrology necessary.

Events are offered both in-person in Richmond VA and virtually on Zoom. We have space for a limited number of people in person and plenty of spots online! Stacia Secreriat (she/her)

Raised in the language of astrology since birth, Stacia has been a professional practicing astrologer for ten years. She's consulted with hundreds of clients in 1:1 sessions, worked for CHANI and Sanctuary apps, and written horoscopes for a variety of publications like Tarot.com. She graduated from a 3 year certification program at the Portland School of Astrology, and has completed additional years of institutional study in the topics of manifestation, energy healing, and magic. Her astro lineage is rooted in ancient Hellenistic practice, and informed by modern Jungian psychology techniques. Stacia served as President of the Oregon Astrological Association for five years, organizing community events. She has taught many courses on astrological techniques, and is active in the astrology conference circuit, working for events such as NORWAC and UAC. Basically, Stacia is a nerd for all things astrology, and can't wait to share her knowledge with you!
