We are celebrating our 2nd year anniversary in our space here on MacArthur Ave with a special event!!! Sarah from Aura Theory in Virginia Beach will be joining us to take aura photographs and to interpret your aura. You can join us for the afternoon or the evening event. We will begin with everyone having a BEFORE photo taken, then we'll all settle in for an hour-long soundbath with Mary-Lynne. After the soundbath, we'll all have AFTER photos taken to learn how the soundbath has shifted your aura! Sarah will read the photos and share that in a group setting in the final 30 minutes. You'll walk away with 2 polaroids for $90 (a $120 value) and a relaxing soundbath for $21.

What is an aura? Every living thing has a biomagnetic field extending out from the body. The condition of this energetic field has a lot to do with how you feel at any given time. Thanks to technology, there is photography equipment that allows us to see the aura!
A message from Mary-Lynne, our founder. "When I first started my career in energy work in Seattle, I signed up to have an aura photograph there. The day I was scheduled to go, I was feeling a lot of anxiety and felt particularly ungrounded. Since I was working as a Reiki Practitioner, I didn't want to be embarrassed by a chaotic or dim aura, so I did some grounding and Reiki, then listened to grounding frequencies on Spotify on the drive to the appointment. When the photographer pulled the photo out of to show me, we were both excited about the intensity of the red color in the photo! You can see my photo in the graphic at the top of the page. Deep and solid red! Red is known to be the color of the Root Chakra energy center which represents grounding, safety and security. It worked!!
Ever since that day, I wished I could have a before and after of my aura that day so I could see what I looked like prior to all the energy work. People generally walk out of our soundbaths and reiki sessions feeling lighter and fresher, but we can't really SHOW what's happening. So, we have invited Sarah Hodges of Aura Theory in Virginia Beach to do these photos to see how the aura changes after a soundbath. We are excited! Sarah has done this before with sound and acupuncture and the results are always interesting. Sarah will also give insights into the colors and patterns in your photo."
Mary-Lynne (she/they) will facilitate sound with crystal singing bowls and other instruments such as gongs and chimes.

This event is only offered in-person in Richmond VA. We have space for a limited number of people in the space, so sign up soon!
This event doesn't have sliding scale due to the cost of the photography. We plan to fund one scholarship or two 50% scholarships for this event. Just reach out to inquire.
