Mary-Lynne's take: Rue is one of the strongest spiritual protection plants out there. One of my teachers keeps rue plants in her yard and I know of shamans who keep the plant surrounding their home. I use this VERY diluted... just a drop in a mason jar full of water and I pour it over my head in a shower letting it go over my whole body. Great for facilitating energetic protection when you're feeling frayed!
