TUNING IN SOUND JOURNEY w/Elena Alexis (she/her) — First Saturdays, January 3rd, February 7th at 6:30pm ET
$22, $33, $44 sliding scale

SIn this soundbath, Elena (she/her) will use crystal singing bowls, chimes, drums and other instruments to build a soundscape with the intention to provide a space that encourages a mindful and meditative presence for all. Sound vibrations will flow throughout the space moving different energies throughout the room to bring peace to the physical body and provide space for inner healing. There will be a full hour of sound and time to integrate and connect as a group before and after.

Wear comfortable clothes and bring water to hydrate after. If you are attending in-person, everything you need will be provided for you (mats to lie on, blankets, and eye covers). If you are joining us virtually, we recommend using headphones for the best experience.

Soundbaths are offered both in-person in Richmond VA and virtually on Zoom. We have space for a limited number of people in person and plenty of spots online! If you would like to be in person and we appear sold out, please contact us.

About Elena (she/her)

Elena Alexis is a multi-modal healing arts practitioner, mindfulness guide and ceremonialist, guided by a natural affinity for equanimity—for herself, the individual and the collective. She is a certified Yoga Alliance RYT 200, Usui Reiki Master, Tibetan Sound Healing practitioner and Intuitive Spatial Designer.

Her practice at Buffalo Firefly weaves Usui Reiki techniques with sound healing frequencies, creating intentional experiences that support deep relaxation, soften the mind and rejuvenate the spirit. Through these art forms, Elena offers energetic nourishment that supports cellular restoration while inviting calm within the nervous system—gently guiding clients toward homeostasis and overall well-being.

Over the past decade, Elena has devoted her life’s work to holistic health, integrating personal and transpersonal healing, restorative care, yogic embodiment practices, immersive circle work, self-study, mentorship and land stewardship. Her work is further informed by a five-year course of study within a Greek-based Shamanism school, from which she draws a grounded palette of acquired shamanic healing techniques.

Elena remains devoted to the ongoing restoration of her health following a near-fatal accident that impacted her spine and pelvis. Since then, rehabilitation rooted in holistic education and embodied healing practices has become a way of life—continually supporting her vitality and well-being. This lived experience informs her work and reflects a deep respect for the body’s innate capacity to heal.
