Feel the empowerment of playing the bowls.
You do not need any experience to enjoy this. Our facilitators stay close the whole time, ready to guide your hands or simply sit beside you while you listen. Come on your own, or bring a friend.
There is no right way to spend the afternoon. Wander the room, play quietly in a corner, or settle in for a group sound moment.

Step up to a play station, pick up the mallet, and feel the bowls come alive under your hand. We will show you the motion that makes it sing.
If you choose to build your own set to take home, we’ll start the process of selecting the personal bowls that are calling to your soul.
Once each hour, we gather on the floor for five minutes of listening. Sit back, close your eyes, and let the live bowls carry the room.

Mary-Lynne Williams
Founder and owner of Buffalo Firefly. Mary-Lynne plays and teaches crystal bowls, and has gathered one of the largest collections on the East Coast.
Maile Paek
One of our lead soundbath facilitators with a gift for stillness. Maile plays crystal bowls and runs the Buffalo Firefly studio in Richmond.
