What to expect

This two-day immersive training with Maile Paek explores the healing practice of Usui Reiki. This Japanese energy-work practice cultivates a deeper connection with yourself, your intuition, and your intentions through working with the universal life-force energy that lives within all of us. In person only, in Richmond, VA.

You don’t have to work as a Reiki practitioner to benefit from learning Reiki — it facilitates healing, deepens meditation, strengthens trust in your intuition, and expands your capacity for healing yourself and others.

Good to know

The course covers: the history and traditions of Usui Reiki; a primer on energy and the body; how Reiki works and its uses; the aura and chakras; basic anatomy; grounding, centering, and protection; the principles of Reiki; hand positions for self, distance, and others; the attunement ceremony; and hands-on practice giving Reiki in class.

About Maile (they/she)

Maile is a Sound and Reiki Master Practitioner, Yoga Alliance RYT 500, and Pranayama Breathwork guide. Their work is rooted in creating compassionate, grounding spaces for deep rest, renewal, clarity, and harmony. For over three years Maile has offered one-on-one Reiki sessions weaving together Reiki, sound healing, and intentional integration. They completed their Usui Ryoho Reiki training through the Master Practitioner level and are passionate about making Reiki accessible and empowering students to trust their intuition.
