🦬 Join Mary-Lynne Williams, founder of Buffalo Firefly, a Crystal Tones® Partner, for her Level 1 Sound Training. Mary-Lynne brings her knowledge and expertise of energy work, meditation, sound healing, music theory, and crystals to teach this Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowl Training. Note: this is training specifically for crystal singing bowls, but you may bring other instruments with you to work with Mary-Lynne on how to skillfully integrate those instruments into your sound journeys. Please contact us to discuss instruments to bring with you (large instruments not recommended due to space). You'll receive a certificate of completion from Buffalo Firefly after the training.

🌀 Mary-Lynne's method of playing integrates attunements to higher vibrational energies and a skilled & intuitive ear, integrating music theory and channeled intentions. She is a certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher, Usui Reiki Master Teacher and Akashic Records Teacher and Practitioner. Unique amongst sound healing practitioners, Mary-Lynne is a crystal expert and channeler and will work with you to listen to to the alchemical elements of your bowls to work best with what they have to offer.

⌛️ Her training will teach you how she approaches sound giving you all the tools to create your own soundscapes as well as a certificate of completion. Becoming an expert takes time and practice and you'll have a launching point to create full sound journey experiences for others with grace & ease.

⚡️ Each day of the training begins with a soundbath & attunement by Mary-Lynne. On Saturday, the energy attunement will amplify your intuition & listening skills for your sound practice. On Sunday, the energy attunement will activate the solar plexus confidence center, the heart center for connecting with your participants, & your throat chakra for amplifying your voice as a facilitator. Mary-Lynne's decades of experience in leadership & teaching positions have shown the impact of imposter syndrome early on when following a new passion and these attunements are aimed to break through those obstacles and allow you to blossom into an amazing practitioner!

Training Agenda:

Day 0— Friday

• Optional Bowl Consultations from 10 to 6pm allowing you to select bowls to purchase from our inventory of close to 500 Crystal Tones® bowls. You'll also be able to shop in person for chimes, wave drums and other instruments in our shop. Mary-Lynne & her team will guide you to build the perfect set or to add to your existing soundscape.

Day 1 — Saturday

• Soundbath w/Mary-Lynne to begin the day, including an energy attunement to amplify your intuition & listening skills for your sound practice
• Vibrational/Energy healing & working with intentions, chakras, body systems and more, sending energy through your instruments
• Alchemies & crystal energy — how to maximize their effects in your sound journeys
• Fundamental music theory concepts & practically how to utilize music theory in your sound journeys
• Alchemy Singing Bowl playing techniques & best practices
• Individual practice — hands on practice with the instruments with guidance & feedback from Mary-Lynne & her team

Day 2 — Sunday

• Soundbath w/Mary-Lynne to begin the day, including an energy attunement to activate the solar plexus confidence center, the heart center for connecting with your participants, & your throat chakra for amplifying your voice as a facilitator
• Learn how to facilitate & practice soundbaths & 1:1 sessions — Mary-Lynne will teach you how she facilitates sound journeys from start to finish with intuition, listening skills, technical skills & grace
• Group practice: you'll practice in groups offering sound healing to each other.
• Closing & certificate of completion

Day 4 — Monday

• Optional additional bowl consultations to complete your instrument selections as needed.

Recommended pre-requisite: Reiki 1 Training (not required) — Join Mary-Lynne for Reiki 1 on June 7th 2025. Effective Soundbath facilitation is much more than learning how to create sound with the instruments. Mary-Lynne utilizes techniques such as Reiki & Akashic Records energies in combination with intuitive practices with intention. In addition to practice flowing energy through your instruments, learning about music theory and the specifics of your alchemy bowls will allow you to amplify the experience of your participants. Mary-Lynne will teach you the skill of listening mindfuly to improve the sounds from your instruments as well as your transitions between instruments. If you don't yet have alchemy bowls, we have bowls for you to use! If you have classic frosted bowls, you may bring them to the training and/or borrow our bowls. If you are planning to purchase Crystal Tones® bowls or add to your set, you'll come a day early on Friday to shop our inventory or you can book a consultation on zoom now as well as browsing our website!

We have one of the largest inventories of Alchemy Singing Bowls nestled in our beautiful healing center in Richmond, VA. Mary-Lynne (she/they) is an experienced Reiki Master Practitioner & Teacher, Sound Practitioner, Akashic Records Practitioner, Meditation Teacher, crystal expert & channler. She founded Buffalo Firefly after working as a design leader in the tech industry for over 20 years, in order to help people find peace & presence through mindfulness, sound, and other forms of energy healing. To join this training, you should bring your Crystal Tones® Alchemy Bowls if you already have them. You will have the opportunity to use Alchemy bowls from our inventory and will be able to purchase Crystal Tones® bowls within 30 days of your training with discounts. In order to receive the discount, you must sign up for the class first. The class fee is non-refundable, but you may transfer to a future class if something comes up.

For Zoom (Online) Participants:

For cohorts where we use Zoom, access to a device that can enable "Original sound for musicians" or "Live performance audio" is required. Please join from a computer or laptop, not a tablet or phone! This will allow the instructors to hear the audio of your singing bowls clearly, without Zoom's audio filters. Read more here to learn how to enable this feature on your device.
