Care & resources

Care documents, and the insurers other clients use.

What’s already in your set

Your three bowls are a C, a D and an F, all in C major (C, D, E, F, G, A, B). Your 8 inch C is the lowest, so C is the home note. The same three work as A minor (A, B, C, D, E, F, G) for a softer feel.

Your Larimar is the D, and the blue you wanted.

They measure F+10, C+10 and D+15. A five cent spread, which is why they sound like one instrument. Anything new should be 0 to +30.

Grow your set

A is the sixth of C major (C, D, E, F, G, A, B) and the root of A minor (A, B, C, D, E, F, G), and with your F and your C it makes an F major chord (F, A, C).

A, in your colors

Pink, as you asked. All 4th octave, the same octave as your set. The Rose Quartz measures +10, the same as both your quartz bowls.

A, other colors

Same note and same octave, different alchemies, in case you are open to more than pink. All three are in your tuning.

A, an octave down, for A minor

These are 3rd octave, below everything you own. A deep A makes A the lowest note in the room, which puts your set in A minor (A, B, C, D, E, F, G) instead of C major. Two of them measure -5, just under your range, but a bowl this deep masks the cents, so listen to them next to yours and decide by ear.

E

E is the third of C major (C, D, E, F, G, A, B), the note that gives C its major color. With your C and a G it makes a C major chord (C, E, G). With your C and an A it makes an A minor chord (A, C, E). The Pink Aura Gold is the pink one. The Charcoal measures -5, just under your range.

G, in your colors

G is the fifth of C major (C, D, E, F, G, A, B), the note under your C. Both of these are pink and both are 3rd octave, lower than anything you own.

G, other colors

The same note in other alchemies. All are 4th octave, the same octave as your set, apart from the 10 inch Platinum, which is 3rd octave and goes below it. The 6 inch Mt. Shasta has a frosted inside, which will feel familiar next to your quartz bowls.

F, deeper than the one you have

Your F is a 4th octave F+10. The Ocean Gold and the Lemon Angel Gold are 3rd octave, an octave below it, so they give your F a floor. Both have a frosted rim, which will feel familiar next to your quartz bowls. The Tibetan Quartz Copper is 4th octave at +10, the same octave and tuning as your F, so it doubles it. A bowl this deep masks the cents, so listen by ear.

Tuning forks

E is the third of C major (C, D, E, F, G, A, B), the note that gives C its major color. Easy to carry, good for close work.
