The Sunday Reading with Bakara (long-time tarot magician) is followed by an immersive soundbath led by Mary-Lynne. A beloved ritual since 2019, The Sunday Reading has offered channeled wisdom for the week ahead to thousands of people — combat the Sunday scaries with these immaculate vibes and start your week off right.

The reading is followed by a soundbath with the stunning Crystal Tones® Alchemy Singing Bowls to integrate the energy of the reading.

Bakara started reading Tarot in 2014 after receiving a deck that profoundly and spontaneously altered her course. Within six months she left her job at a leading literary agency to become a full-time Tarot reader. Nearly a decade later she has read at distinctive events around the world, authored a book on the subject, co-created three decks, taught classes and workshops, and owns the preeminent metaphysical boutique Everyday Magic. She has given thousands of readings to clients from all walks of life, delivering clearly channeled, easily applicable wisdom through the Tarot.

Mary-Lynne is a retired tech-industry design leader and the founder of Buffalo Firefly. She lived in NYC from 1995 to 2009 and Seattle from 2009 to 2021, leading teams at design agencies as well as Microsoft, Facebook, and Zillow. The corporate world eventually led her to the power of energy and sound healing; she retired to start Buffalo Firefly, opened a Richmond healing center in 2022, and is now also in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
