SWING CHIME — AIR, six bars
This pioneering instrument is gaining international recognition for its distinctive tuning and fluid playability. The chime can be gently swung, rotated, looped, and guided around or over the body, allowing sound to unfold as a layered, spherical field rather than a fixed point.
Through these subtle movements, resonance develops gradually in space, inviting attentive listening and a refined sense of harmonic coherence.
The six-bar is the lighter, more portable sibling of the nine-bar Elemental chime. It is easy to hold and swing one-handed, which makes it well suited to moving through a room during a sound bath or working above a body on the table.
