How to use this page

Special pricing through Sept 30
The bowls marked Special price are ones I have on loan that are going back soon, so those are reduced through Sept 30. Buy one of them and it is 10% off. Buy two and they are 12% off. Buy three or more and they are 15% off. Bowls without that mark are at their usual price. Take two or more of the marked bowls, though, and any other bowl comes down 10% too, including ones that are not on this page. If there is something else you want, ask me.
How the pricing works

What is already in your set
Everything on this page is tuned between 0 and +20 cents, because that is where your own six bowls fall.
You built an A# major pentatonic: A#, C, D, F, and G. All five of them, nothing missing. Those same five notes are also a G minor pentatonic.
Then the E went in, and it changed what the set is. Counted from your A#, the six notes are A# Lydian, which is A# major with a lifted 4th, the bright floating one. Counted from your G they are G Dorian, minor with a lifted 6th. Either way, the one note missing is the A.
The one bowl I would add first is a deep A#, because A# is where the whole set started. Your A# is a 9-inch, 3rd octave. The 16" A#+15 is the same note one octave below it, in your own tuning, and it is the only bowl we have that goes under your 12" E. Everything above it settles onto it.
What you can already play:
- C major (C, E, G)
- A# major (A#, D, F)
- G minor (G, A#, D), and G minor 7 (G, A#, D, F)
The other way to grow is to add another octave of a note you already play. That gives you the same note in two registers rather than a new note.
Grow your set
Start here, the 16" A#+15
Your set is built on A#. Yours is a 9-inch, 3rd octave; this is a 16-inch, 2nd octave, one octave below it, and at +15 it is inside your own tuning. It gives everything you already own something to rest on. It is a SuperGrade, so it is on special pricing, and it is in the New York studio. Down there the cents matter far less than they do in the higher octaves, so listen and decide by ear.
SuperGrades
The big ones, largest first, and every one of them is at a special price. These are not scale bowls. They are the floor of a room, and a drone does not have to belong to your key to work underneath it. The 18" C#+15 is the one to try that with, and the 13" F#+5 Temple Bowl is worth hearing too. Down there the cents matter far less than they do in the higher octaves, so listen and decide by ear.
Another octave of a note you already play
Your C, D, F and G are all 4th octave. These are the same notes an octave below them, which thickens what you already play rather than adding anything new. The one I would put in your hands first is the 12" F+10 Tibetan Quartz Copper, Palladium, at the front here. After that the 10" G+20 Morganite. Deeper bowls mask their cents, so listen to these alongside your own and decide by ear.
A# an octave above yours
Your A# is a 9-inch, 3rd octave. Every one of these is 4th octave, one octave up, so your root note answers itself top and bottom.
E an octave above yours
Your E is a 12-inch, 3rd octave, and it is the deepest bowl you own. Every one of these is 4th octave, so they are the same note one octave up. Nothing here is in the same octave as yours.
A, the note that completes your set
Add an A and you have the whole F major scale, a full F major pentatonic (F, G, A, C, D), an F major chord (F, A, C), and a D minor chord (D, F, A). All of these are in your tuning.

Pyramids, minis and tuning forks
Every one we have. Cents matter much less on a pyramid, a mini or a fork than on a bowl you play in a scale, so these are not filtered to your tuning. The doubles are binaural, meaning two bowls in one, tuned close together so they beat gently against each other. They are also a lovely way to bring movement into a soundbath, walking between the hammocks so the sound travels around the room.
